“The Goal of Christian Learning is Christian Living."

The Bible teaching ministry at H.B.C. is designed and organized in such a way as to provide a place for everyone. It consists of four major age divisions: preschool, children's, youth and adults.

Preschool Division
Children acquire faith little by little starting from birth. Luke 2:52 says, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Our Preschool Sunday School Division helps lay the foundation for a child’s spiritual development. Learning for all preschoolers centers around eight basic concept areas. They are: God, Jesus, church, the Bible, family, self, others and the natural world.

Separate teaching units are provided for the following preschool ages: infants and young toddlers; older toddlers and twos; threes and fours; and five year olds (kindergarten).

Children’s Division
The Children's Sunday School Division at H.B.C. utilizes the innovative "Workshop Rotation Model." Our version of this model is called Kids Alive! and includes grades 1 - 6. This unique and creative Bible learning experience for children takes place in the newly rennovated and totally transformed children's section of our facility. Youth Division
CROSS(†)WALK (based on Galatians 6) is the name of the non-traditional youth gathering on Sunday mornings. Youth in grades 7-12 experience an exciting time of creative Bible study utilizing a wide variety of multi-media resources.

Adult Division
The adult Sunday School Division at H.B.C. is age-graded, grouped by sections and classes, and utilizes primarily the “Foundations” curriculumn published by Smyth and Helwys. There are currently eleven adult class units: a college class, two single adult classes, two young adult classes, two middle adult classes, three older adult classes, and one class for the hearing impared.

“Morning Blend”
A group for couples just starting out in life, either without children or with young children, who are looking for a friendly and supportive Bible study setting where fellowship and a sense of community are high priorities.

"Legacy"
A group of single and married adults (30's & 40's) who wish to make a difference in the lives of those who follow behind us. We are a fun-loving group who function as an extended family and who seek to show God's love and grace through our care for one another. Our goal is to experience genuine fellowship and to pursue authentic spiritual growth as we leave a legacy for Christ.

“Renaissance”
A group for single and/or married adults of all ages either with no kids, kids in college, grandkids, or empty-nesters. Like our name implies, we are seeking a renewal of friendship and spiritual regeneration by sharing what the Bible has to say about a variety of topics. If you want lively discussions and lots of fun, check us out!

Note: Our grouping and grading policy is very flexible. Any adult may attend and participate in any adult class.
